Purchase and Warranty Registration
Billfish Boatworks, LLC (“Manufacturer”) includes with each new boat it manufactures a registration and warranty card that must be completed and mailed back to Billfish Boatworks, LLC within thirty (30) days after delivery/receipt of your new boat.
FAILURE TO COMPLETE AND RETURN THE WARRANTY AND PURCHASE REGISTRATION CARD TO BILLFISH BOATS, LLC WITHIN THIRTY (30) DAYS OF DELIVERY OF YOUR NEW BOAT CAN VOID THE WARRANTY AND AFFECT YOUR WARRANTY/LEGAL RIGHTS AND WILL WAIVE YOUR RIGHT TO RECEIVE NOTIFICATION OF DEFECT AND/OR REPAIR AT THE MANUFACTURER’S EXPENSE IN THE FUTURE.
Owner Registration of Warranty

Within thirty (30) days of the sale/delivery of your new boat. In order to obtain performance of any warranty obligation, the owner must report in writing within thirty (30) days of its discovery any claim in respect to defects in material or workmanship to:

When reporting a claim, the owner must provide the following information in writing:
1. Owner’s full name and address
2. Model and Hull Identification Number of the boat on which the claim is being made
3. Date of Sale/Delivery and name of Salesperson
4. Location of the boat in which the claim is being made
5. Full details of the problems being reported
6. Photographs of the problems being reported in the claim
Application of Limited Lifetime Warranty
Billfish Boaworks Limited Lifetime Warranty is extended solely on new Billfish Boaworks sold and delivered to the original purchaser within eighteen (18) months of manufacture by Billfish Boaworks, and is transferable to subsequent purchasers during the warranty period. This Limited Lifetime Warranty is NOT extended to a boat used for commercial purposes and the obligations of Billfish Boaworks under this Limited Lifetime Warranty shall cease if the boat is hired, chartered or otherwise placed into commercial usage.
Limited Lifetime Structural Hull Warranty
Billfish Boaworks warrants that the hull manufactured by Billfish Boaworks shall be free from structural defects due to materials or workmanship under normal consumer use. This Limited Lifetime Warranty is transferable within five (5) years of the original purchase. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to notify Billfish Boaworks of the transfer within thirty (30) days.
Billfish Boaworks Obligations
Billfish Boaworks will within a reasonable amount of time after notification as provided within this Limited Warranty, exercise its option to repair or replace a boat hull which shall, within the Limited Warranty period, be determined by Billfish Boaworks to have been defective in material or workmanship as stated in the respective hull Limited Warranty.
Prior to the authorization of any warranty repair(s), Billfish Boaworks will require such boat or parts to be returned to its factory for examination. All transportation/shipment/delivery charges are the responsibility of the boat owner. Billfish Boaworks, or its authorized representative will NOT be responsible for any removable items not removed from the boat prior to shipment. Billfish Boaworks will then authorize such expense in replacing parts or corrections of defects under this Limited Lifetime Warranty as Billfish Boaworks in its sole discretion deems appropriate.
If warranted components are repaired or replaced under the terms herein, the terms of this Limited Lifetime Warranty shall cover such components for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of repair or replacement or until the end of the original warranty period, whichever is later.
Warranty Exclusions
THIS WARRANTY SPECIFICALLY DOES NOT APPLY TO:
1. Any associated equipment or component of your new boat which was not manufactured or built by Billfish Boaworks such as major mechanical components, engines, generator sets, electronics, appliances, fire extinguishing systems, air conditioning, etc. are warranted by the manufacturer of those components. Most of them have authorized service dealers in major areas. Upon request, Billfish Boaworks will identify such service dealers. Billfish Boaworks will assign its right, if any, to warranty for defects in material or workmanship by the manufacturer of such associated equipment or components.
2. Any boat which has been structurally or substantially altered by someone other than Billfish Boaworks.
3. Any boat which has been used for racing, rental, charter or other commercial purposes.
4. Any boat which has been subject to abuse; unreasonable use, including failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance; negligence; improper docking/mooring; vandalism or accident.
5. The cost of removal or reinstallation of any associated equipment or part, or disassembly or reassembly of the unit of which it is a component.
6. Varnishes, gel coats, paints, fabrics, chromium plated or stainless steel finishes.
7. Any boat which has been overpowered so as to exceed Billfish Boaworks recommended engine horsepower specifications.
8. Any installation of products not to Billfish Boaworks recommended specifications, because of the possibility that the use of these products will exceed Billfish Boatworks or government specifications for overpowering, steering, handling, speed and safety.
9. Speeds, fuel consumption and other performance characteristics because they vary with conditions and are not warranted.
10. Electrolysis, galvanic, or other corrosion, or any deterioration of underwater items.
11. Any statements, representations or warranties given by dealers or third persons other than those provided within this limited warranty.
12. Any boat sold to the original retail purchaser by anyone other than an authorized Billfish Boaworks dealer.
13. Any charges incurred by any boat returned to the factory, the dealer or authorized representative for examination prior to authorization of any warranty repairs.
NOTE TO OWNER: Notify Billfish Boaworks immediately if you change your address as to ensure we are able to reach you promptly with technical or warranty information.

THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE EXTENDED BY BILLFISH BOATS OTHER THAN THOSE EXPRESSLY SET FORTH HEREIN. BILLFISH BOAWORKS UNDERTAKES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE QUALITY OF THE GOODS EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE PROVIDED IN THIS LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY. THE DURATION OF ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY SHALL BE LIMITED TO AND COINCIDENT WITH THE DURATION OF THIS EXPRESS WARRANTY. WARRANTIES OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMED. BILLFISH BOAWORKS ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY THAT THE GOODS WILL BE FIT FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE FOR WHICH YOU MAY BE BUYING THESE GOODS EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE PROVIDED HEREIN.
Damages Disclaimer
BILLFISH BOAWORKS DISCLAIMS ANY LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR INDIRECT DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY PROVIDED BY LAW INCLUDING ANY LOSS OF USE OF THE NEW BOAT COVERED HEREIN.
Warranty Limitations
SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS OR ON THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS ON THE DURATION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES AND THE ABOVE EXCLUSION OF INCIDENTAL AND CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
THIS LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS WHICH MAY VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.
Distributors/Dealers Not Agents
Billfish Boaworks distributors/dealers/designated service representatives are NOT the agents of Billfish Boaworks. Billfish Boaworks neither assumes nor authorizes the distributors/dealers/designated service representatives or any other person to assume for Billfish Boaworks any liability, obligation or expense for the replacement of parts or correction of defects in your new boat other than those expressly authorized herein and only if such expense is authorized in writing in advance by Billfish Boaworks.
Product Improvement Disclaimer
Billfish Boaworks reserves the right to improve its products through changes in design and material without obligation to incorporate such changes in our boats prior to manufacture.
